“Since 2009, I’ve had the distinct privilege of working with Amy on three corporate advisory boards as well as in a client relationship with two different companies. She is a very smart marketing communications strategist, excellent writer, creative, ethical, experienced, quick study, responsive, concise, results-driven, timely, well-organized, highly respected both by her professional peers as well as the media, a true pleasure to work with … I highly recommend Amy to anyone looking for an excellent PR or marketing communications professional.”
“When I was hired to lead the market development of a new technology for a Fortune 100 company, I knew immediately I wanted Renown Marketing Communications on my team. Renown executed a strategic, concise and successful plan that included in-depth voice of the customer research to build targeted messaging that ensured the brand hit the mark. Renown’s ability to connect your brand with the experts in the industry is unmatched. If you are looking to get the most out of your brand, I would highly recommend that you hire Renown Marketing Communications.”
“Renown Marketing’s help in developing Intek’s brand definition was critical to the success of our website, videos and ongoing marketing strategy.”
“Saint Thomas Academy began its partnership with Renown Marketing in 2007. Our media exposure has tripled since working with the firm. Amy understands our school, our students and our mission, and provides important community outreach. We couldn’t be happier with her services, and strongly believe that she is instrumental in telling the story of Saint Thomas Academy to the broader community.”
“The day we met Amy at one of our fundraisers, we knew immediately she was something special. She has since proven our instincts correct. We’ve worked with many media and marketing professionals and Amy is one of the best. She is, as I’ve told many others, ‘scary smart,’ with a strong professional presence and an open, trust-inspiring personality. Her confidence encourages us, her leadership inspires us, and her advice energizes us.”
“Amy is one of the finest professionals I’ve worked with in any field. We have been fortunate to have her ongoing guidance for many years. Her leadership on countless projects has enhanced our business image in many ways. If you have the opportunity to work with her, I highly recommend her to you.”
“I’ve known Amy for more than ten years, and she is one of those rare individuals who is a freelancer by choice vs. by force. Amy is one of the best independent writers and media relations professionals I know, and really epitomizes the phrase ‘grace under pressure.’ I’ve never seen her get rattled even in tough situations. I’d wholeheartedly endorse her for any job requiring an experienced sole practitioner.”
“Renown Marketing has had a dramatic effect on the Saint Thomas Academy Experimental Vehicle Team. Our program has been taking students outside of the classroom and into the real world of engineering for many years, but it wasn’t until Amy came along that my students and the program received the recognition that they deserve. Our group of ‘Junior Edisons’ has been catapulted from a locally recognized group to one of the top high school engineering programs in the country. Renown Marketing has made the contacts, helped rehearse our students, and held our hands through media madness. Our program is better due to the work of Renown Marketing.”
As president of the Elko New Market Chamber of Commerce in 2014 and 2015, I (and our Chamber) relied heavily on Amy Nugent from Renown Marketing for marketing and communication expertise. Amy was the chairperson for our communication committee and with her guidance, knowledge and expertise, we tripled our membership, improved the Chamber’s image and dramatically improved our social media efforts. The communications from our Chamber including newsletters and Facebook pages have become the default go-to sources for information for our community and the Chamber’s value to our members and our community have been dramatically improved in very large part to Amy’s efforts and expertise. If results matter to you, Renown Marketing Communications has proven the ability to deliver.
“I had the opportunity to work with Amy for several years as the director of sales and marketing for a building products manufacturer. She consistently added value to my team by bringing new ideas and sound communications strategies to us. Her considerable experience helped us navigate a wide range of needs from business interruption issues to new product launches as well as superb customer events.”
“As editor and publisher of LBM Journal, I’ve worked with literally hundreds of PR people over the years. Amy Nugent is easily one of the best PR professionals representing building products manufacturers. She’s knowledgeable, responsive, and most of all, respectful of my interests when representing her clients. I view her as a resource, not just someone pitching a story.”
“Amy has a gift to assess, capture and then articulate creatively the project you engage on. She generously goes above and beyond to add immeasurable value that you can’t help but want to pay forward.”
